Wintrange is part of the community of Schengen, which comprises the towns of Wintrange, Remerschen and Schengen.
Wintrange is surrounded by some of the regions best vineyards, many ponds and lakes, rolling hills and lush forests, and the Haff Réimich Natural Reserve and Wetlands. The Mosel river creates the natural border to Germany and France in Schengen.
The area has a slightly Tuscan flair, with many excellent hiking trails and biking routes. Wintrange has approximately 350 inhabitants, which makes it a very cosy setting to inspire and relax.
